MECHANICS OF NOTE

GUS WILSON was the prototypical neighborhood mechanic.  He was a man that had been self-schooled in automotive mechanics and through the quality of his work had become a local resource.  There are still  many such mechanics all over the world. They are honest, hard working, inquisitive and intelligent beings that freely share their "gift" with the world around them. I, myself have known several from this elite group.  They've been my role models, my mentors, my flesh and blood "Gus Wilsons". The stories on this site could have been about any of these mechanics.  You're invited to add a member to this hall of fame.
